Retail Reimagined set out to transform the way we look at, utilize and design our main streets and commercial centers across Massachusetts.  As part of our next steps in this program we’re looking to bring this show on the road and take an in depth look at our Main Streets and commercial centers across Massachusetts.  As part of this effort we’re looking for towns, cities, architects, designers, startups, small businesses, landlords and developers and others who may be interested in participating in upcoming events from across Massachusetts.

EMILY ISENBERG

President + Founder, Isenberg Projects

Emily Isenberg is the Founder & Creative Principal of Boston based creative strategy and experiential marketing firm Isenberg Projects. Founded in 2011, Emily has built Isenberg Projects into one of the Northeast’s go-to firms for fresh and exciting pop-up activations according to the Boston Globe and, in the process, has become one of the most respected voices thinking outside of the box in Boston’s retail and real estate scenes.

Emily has been deemed the “Pop-up Queen,” by Boston Globe having worked with numerous real estate developers on short term activations in addition to international brands and local brands alike including: Kanye West, Tracksmith, Safety First, Aether Apparel, Island Creek Oysters and Burton snowboards for starters.

Emily holds a BA in Marketing and Communications from Lesley University, has served as a Fellow of the Startup Leadership Program, is a featured member of Forbes’ Boston Business Council, and is currently a contributor to Forbes Magazine. Additionally, in the Spring of 2018, Emily was highlighted by ABC networks’ Boston affiliate, WCVB, as a leading expert discussing the future of retail in Boston and beyond on the longstanding news magazine “Chronicle”.

JONATHAN BERK

JONATHAN BERK

Director, Patronicity + Founder, BuildingBOS

Jonathan Berk is the Director of Patronicity, a civic crowdfunding platform that supports community lead placemaking initiatives across the country and founder of BuildingBOS, a real estate development consultancy. Through his work at Patronicity, Jonathan supports the design, implementation and funding of numerous projects aimed at revitalizing vacant and underutilized spaces in main streets and commercial centers with creative public art installations, place branding activities and pop up retail activations.

Jonathan travels across North America speaking about his placemaking and main street revitalization work. He’s spoken most recently at Main Street America’s national conference in Pittsburgh, ULI Canada’s, Toronto Symposium, and NAIOP & NEWaukee’s Empty Storefront’s conference in Milwaukee.

Jonathan holds a JD from New England Law | Boston and a BA in Communications from Quinnipiac University and currently sits on the board of his local Main Street organizations as well as the local advisory board of Leading Cities, a global leader in Smart City solutions, city diplomacy and collaboration advancing sustainability and resilient city strategies and technologies.
